One of jobs in Longbridge completed today converting a garage in a more used utility and shower room.

What does a garage conversion involve?
The garage door opening is built up, usually with a window, to match the house. Inside, the floor is brought up to the level of the house and insulated, the walls are insulated and boarded, and water, waste and electrics are run in for a utility room or shower room. A conversion like this usually needs building regulations approval, so check with building control before work starts.
Has Brick2Brick UK converted other garages?
Yes. In April 2025 the team finished another conversion, where the garage door was replaced with a window and a new front door, and a third was under way in December 2025. See renovations for knock-throughs, refurbs and other alterations.
Where else has the team worked in Longbridge?
The team has worked in Longbridge more than anywhere else: an extension and refurbs in 2026 as well as this conversion. See Birmingham for the list.
