Commercial and industrial building work
Alongside homes, Brick2Brick UK works for businesses: factories, offices, shops and pubs, and maintenance for clients across the Midlands.

What commercial work does Brick2Brick UK do?
Jobs for businesses include:
- Industrial work: a factory job in Wolverhampton for a regular client, finished with a final clean and handed over in January 2026.
- Offices: an office building put back after an insurance claim, with re-plastering, new doors, two new kitchens, new flooring and painting (July 2024). See the office job.
- Shops: shop refurbishment, and dilapidations work at the end of a lease.
- Pubs: a pub wall in Droitwich rebuilt for a brewery after a tree fell on it, and the front of a pub in Bordesley Green rebuilt.
- Listed buildings: bringing a Grade II listed building up to regulations with fire boarding, a wall removed and doorways into neighbouring properties blocked up (2024).
- Repairs for a regular client in Leicester: old steel braces removed, blocks replaced and hazards made safe (July 2025).
- Maintenance and responsive works: for a new client covering the Midlands in July 2026, and for another new client in 2024.

What are dilapidations?
At the end of a commercial lease, the tenant usually has to hand the premises back in the condition the lease requires, carrying out or paying for the repairs. Brick2Brick UK carries out dilapidations work on shops, alongside shop refurbishment. See the glossary.

How do commercial jobs run?
Many are for regular clients who come back: the Wolverhampton factory job and the Leicester wall repairs were both for regular clients. Jobs finish with a clean so the building can be handed straight back.
Claims and property repair firms are business clients too. On the 2024 fire job, the owner’s review thanks the firm managing the claim for choosing Brick2Brick UK as its contractor: see the fire-damaged house rebuild.

Does Brick2Brick UK repair commercial buildings for insurance claims?
Yes. On the Coventry Road in February 2024 the gable end of an apartment block had moved away from its timber frame. The team took it down, re-insulated it and fitted a breathable membrane before the brickwork went back up. See insurance work.
The team had to remove the gable end of building due to it moving away from the timber frame. We then re insulated and dressed it with a breathable membrane before rebuilding.

Can Brick2Brick UK bring its own machines?
Yes. The team runs and services its own plant, and hires out a 1.7 tonne mini digger. See mini digger hire and groundworks.
